Use this to decide where your reps must say the recording notice before a sit starts, and to check the line they say.
- Open Settings and find Consent. The rule follows your home state and each sit's address.
- The line your reps say is shown at the top, in quotes.
- The table lists each State with its In-person recording law, the Consent line setting and the Basis for it.
- In all-party consent states the line is always Required.
- In one-party consent states you may choose Required or Recommended. These settings describe the company's disclosure policy. The app shows the reminder and I said it optionally records confirmation. Neither setting blocks or delays recording.
- Choose Save, or Discard to undo.
- Under Organization, check your Home state.
Each sit keeps the version of the line the rep was shown.
Your company is responsible for any notice and consent the law requires before recording.
If it does not work
- You cannot change a state: it is an all-party state, or its rule is not confirmed, so it stays Required.
- Save is missing: only org admins change the table. Managers can read it.
