Use this to stop recording for a while, and to know what happens when a call or a quiet spell interrupts a sit.
- To pause, tap Pause on the live screen or on your watch. The band shows Paused.
- To go on, tap Resume, slide the bubble back to the center, or tap Resume on the watch.
- When a phone call comes in, TrueSit marks the call in the transcript and starts recording again after it. Nothing before the call is lost.
- If recording cannot start again on its own, the phone vibrates and shows Not recording. Tap Resume recording, or Sit is over if the visit has ended, or Snooze 5 min. The watch shows the same choices.
- If nobody talks for a long stretch, the sit pauses itself and you get one quiet notification: "Paused. Nobody talking. Tap to resume." Tap it, or tap Resume. Your company sets how long the stretch is.
- If a sit runs past your company's hour limit, it ends by itself, you get a "Sit ended after" notice, and it is processed as usual.
If it does not work
- Not recording says the app closed: open TrueSit and tap Resume recording. Avoid closing TrueSit from the app switcher during a sit.
- A low battery band shows: plug in if you can. The sit keeps recording.
